Golem is a pioneering immersive dance performance transforming the physical body into Virtual Reality. Golem premiered July 25, 26, 27 at Uferstudios in Berlin, Germany.
This album was created through a collaboration between choreographer Carly Lave and Arushi Jain (OSE) for the production of Golem. The pair collaborated on the narration and composition of these specialty tracks for Golem, which is a remix of the first and last track on OSE's recent album: With and Without.
We used an Optitrack motion-capture system with accompanying body sensors to track the dancers motion, and stream that into a virtual world where the avatar mimics the dancer in real time.
